Shower Room
Eltham
Clean Lines,
Done Properly
This shower room in Eltham was stripped back completely and refitted from scratch. The existing suite, tiling, and flooring were all removed and the room was rebuilt to a clean, contemporary finish with careful attention to the quality of the tiling work — which is where a shower room either looks professional or it doesn't.
Before any tiling began, the walls were correctly waterproofed using a tanking system applied to all wet areas. This is a step that gets skipped on a lot of bathroom work — the consequences show up months or years later as damp patches, tile adhesive failure, and mould. We don't skip it.
The tiling was set out carefully before work started to ensure consistent grout lines, balanced tile cuts, and a finish that reads as deliberate rather than improvised. Grout colour, joint width, and pattern direction all contribute to the overall quality of a tiled space — and they're all worth getting right.
New sanitaryware and fixtures were fitted throughout, with all plumbing connections properly made and tested before the room was closed off. The result is a shower room that functions correctly, looks sharp, and will perform for years without issues.
